He further admitted that he has placing bets since last six years, reports added.The 'Dabangg' actor appeared before the anti-Extortion Cell after he was summoned by the police in connection with Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 betting scam on Friday.
Arbaaz's name cropped up during the investigation of high profile bookie Sonu Jalan. Subsequently, he was asked to record his statement. Jalan is reportedly linked with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and was arrested from Kalyan court in Mumbai where he had come to meet one of the arrested accused in the same case of 2012 IPL betting case. During the investigation, it was revealed that Jalan was in contact with Arbaaz and that he placed bets for the actor.
